William Britains Great war Range. This new range depicts British and German forces from the Somme Offensive.  Following a week long barrage, at 0730 'ack emma' on on 1st July 1916 thousands of British and French assault troops rose from their trenches and launched an attack on a 13 mile front.  The Offensive continued - gradually driving the Germans up the Albert - Bapaume road until the offensive ceased with the onset of winter in November.
